Unit Manager

Responsible for supervision of Nursing Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and all other employees in the absence of the Director of Nursing, Administrator, or Department Head. Ensures compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain the highest quality of care at all times.

Educational Requirements

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare setting.
• At least 12 months of training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
