RN Unit Manager

Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility is a 140-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We are committed to being the leading provider of quality care in Sullivan County. In order to achieve that goal, we need to meet high standards of excellence in the care the residents receive. We are looking for a dedicated, professional RN Unit Manager to join our team of passionate healthcare superstars. The RN Unit Manager position typically works Monday-Friday 8a-4p but may work an occasional weekend or evening, as needed.

Responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures during the course of their shift. The RN Unit Manager will promote and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care plan, directing and developing staff, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs and providing physical and psychological support for residents and their families.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Direct and coordinate the nursing units under their supervision.
• Provide resident care services with kindness and compassion to the residents.
• Plan, organize, and oversee staff to provide patient care.
• Evaluate care and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the department's daily staffing requirements.
• Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
• Act as an interface between the staff, residents, and the residents' families.
• Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in NY.
• RN experience in LTC is required.
• At least 1 year of LTC/SNF supervisory experience is highly preferred.

NOW HIRING:

RN Unit Manager: FT Day (Monday - Friday)

Weekend on call rotation is required. On call bonus available.
