Job summary

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Southampton, NY is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the clinical and administrative operations of a subacute nursing unit. You will provide strong direction to the nursing team, coordinate resident care, and ensure a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for residents.

Requirements include a NYS RN license and 1+ year of nursing home experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing home experience.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care.
• Supervisory or nursing management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience with SigmaCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical and administrative management of the nursing unit.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and procedures.
• Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Monitor resident progress and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Promote effective communication among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable New York State and federal regulations.
• Support staff development, teamwork, and efficient unit operations.
• Utilize SigmaCare and other computer systems for clinical documentation and resident management.

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a subacute nursing unit. The RN Unit Manager will provide strong leadership to the nursing team, coordinate resident care, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
