Qualifications

• Graduate from Accredited Nursing School; RN license required in Missouri.
• Minimum 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Basic CPR/First Aid training.
• Covid-19 vaccination proof.
• Full-time or part-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care with physicians and healthcare staff while preserving resident rights.
• Document nursing care plans, observations, Medicare charting, admissions and discharges, and patient education.
• Complete monthly/quarterly assessments and participate in care plan meetings.
• Provide direction to Charge Nurses and CNAs; ensure continuity of care via rounds and responding to call lights.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV therapy, and operate relevant medical equipment.

A typical day for an RN includes:

• Implementing and coordinating the delivery of care in collaboration with physician and resource health care personnel; ensuring Resident rights are maintained at all times
• Documenting all pertinent information regarding Nursing care, care plans, observation of condition and behavior, Medicare charting, admission, discharge, and Patient teaching
• Completing monthly/quarterly assessments and documentation as assigned. Attending care plan meetings as assigned
• Providing functional direction and assistance to Charge Nurses and CNAs. Directing Resident Care to include making rounds to ensure continuity of care. Answering call lights as needed
• Setting up and administering prescribed medications and treatments including IV therapy. Operating a variety of medical equipment as necessary
• Communicating effectively with the Residents, families, visitors, members of the health care team, and other disciplines

RN Requirements:

• Graduate from Accredited Nursing School and a minimum of one to two years related experience preferred
• Valid State License/Certification
• Basic CPR/first aid training
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
• Currently considering all availability (full-time, part-time)
