Job summary

The Allure Group's Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee a designated unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and staff support in daily operations.

You will supervise nurses and CNAs, review care plans, administer medications when needed, and ensure compliance with policies while remaining flexible to cover additional duties within the RN scope.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current.
• Experience with long-term care regulations and guidelines.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting resident outcomes.
• Review and ensure daily resident care needs are met and appropriate care is delivered.
• Address concerns from residents and staff to promote high-quality care.
• Supervise and guide staff nurses and CNAs to ensure completion and quality of duties.
• Make rounds to observe and assess residents' physical and emotional well-being.
• Review physician orders and care plans to ensure they are followed correctly.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary, including administering treatments and medications.
• Perform tasks in accordance with policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Remain flexible to handle services within the RN scope of practice.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experiencedRN Unit Managerto join the team at Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Valid, current RN license.


• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.


• At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.


• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Preferred

• Previous experience with PointClickCare software.
