Job summary

The Allure Group in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an RN Nurse Supervisor to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will supervise nurses and CNAs, assess resident care needs, and ensure high-quality, compliant care for residents, while coordinating with leadership to maintain smooth operations.

Ideal candidates hold a current RN license, have supervisory experience in long-term care, and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

RN Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired resident outcomes
• Assess, review, and maintain that daily resident care needs are met, and appropriate resident care is given
• Address resident and staff concerns to promote quality care
• Supervise staff nurses and CNAs to ensure their completion and quality of duties
• Make rounds of resident rooms to observe and evaluate resident's physical/emotional state
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Remain prepared to do any services or assignments within the scope of practice of an RN

RN Nurse Supervisor Requirements

• Valid, current RN license
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• At least one-year experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination
