Job summary

Pavilion Management Company in Kettering, OH is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee daily operations and clinical care of residents, ensuring quality and compliance with state and federal guidelines. This full-time role offers a negotiable salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead nursing services on your unit, manage staff assignments, ensure medication stock, and support ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two (2) years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing management experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the assigned unit.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Reviews complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., on the unit.
• Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
• Makes nursing and aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend and participate in outside training programs.
• Reviews nurses' notes to ensure informative and descriptive records of care provided.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
