Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking a dedicated RN with leadership experience for the role of Unit Manager. In this position, you will manage nursing services and lead a team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to residents.

The role requires at least three years of nursing experience, with a focus on management within a long-term care setting. You will be responsible for assessing residents, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment.
• Most experience should be in a management role.
• Ability to administer medications and IV certification required.
• Good working knowledge of state rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing services for all licensed units.
• Assess and provide direct care for residents according to their care plan.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, organize, staff, administer, and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON)

• Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan

• Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents’ needs

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and clinical standards

• Promote resident safety, dignity, and overall well-being

What You Bring

• At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment, most of which should be in a management role

• Current RN License

• Ability to administer medications and IV certification

• Good working knowledge of state rules/regulations

• Passion for caring for and improving the lives of residents

• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
