Job summary

Azure Shores Rehabilitation in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the Nursing Department, ensure high-quality resident care, and support the DON/ADON in daily operations.

Ideal candidates hold Florida RN licensure, 2+ years in a nursing setting, leadership experience, strong English communication, and PCC familiarity; you will supervise staff and uphold regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or hospital setting.
• Prior Unit Manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft programs.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant DON with daily Nursing Department operations.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
• Address staff concerns and grievances, escalating issues to the Director of Nursing as appropriate.
• Promote a collaborative, team-focused work environment.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
