FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing team and drive excellence in resident care across our Baltimore communities.

The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing and physicians. You will oversee day-to-day operations, develop care plans, and ensure restorative health outcomes while managing performance and addressing family concerns.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license issued in Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of the unit to ensure quality nursing care in line with standards and regulations.
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents.
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident.
• Supervises and manages nursing staff performance to ensure high quality care.
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan resident care.
• Identifies procedural problems and works with leadership to resolve issues.
• Directs all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engages in clinical activities.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service in accordance with current nursing standards of practice, FutureCare policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations.
• Oversees day-day care and maintain restorative health for our residents
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident
• Supervise, counsel, and manages performance when necessary, to nurse staff to ensure the highest quality care possible
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care
• Identifies procedural problems and works with the Director of Nursing to resolve issues
• Supervises and directs all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engage in all clinical activities
• Acts as a main point of contact between residents and their families and addresses and prevents concerns that may arise
• Performs audits and completes charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
• 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility
• Must possess a current CPR license
