Riverview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered care. You will guide clinical staff, coordinate resident care, and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires an RI RN license, BLS, and at least five years of nursing experience with two years in supervision. Nursing degree preferred.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Mansioni

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
