Job summary

Spring Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in New Jersey is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure resident-centered care. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $79k–$110k per year.

The Unit Manager will provide clinical leadership, ensure care plan compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and continuous improvement in a sub-acute and long-term

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in NJ is required.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
