Job summary

Genesis in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead and supervise nursing units on assigned shifts. You will ensure adherence to policies, care standards, and regulatory requirements while mentoring staff and coordinating with other departments.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality long-term care with a patient-centered approach, collaborating with leadership to maintain staffing and provide safe 24/7 care. BSN preferred when applying.

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of experience in Long Term Care or similar setting.
Must have at least 1 year supervising a team of 10+ people.
RN licensure in the state.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
Mentor staff, implement care delivery model, coordinate with other departments.
Collaborate with Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for safe 24/7 care, reduce overtime and agency use.
Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
