Job summary

Genesis in New Mexico seeks a Clinical Lead to oversee all clinical aspects of care in our long-term care facility. You will provide leadership, direction, and daily administration of direct patient care, nursing practice, and clinical education to continuously improve nursing services and resident outcomes.

Required is an RN licensed in the state, with at least five years of full-time clinical experience and two years in supervision within long-term care, plus current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state with an accredited nursing degree.
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience, with two years in supervision in long-term care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Drives, supports, and models a service-oriented culture focused on top of license practice, interprofessional collaboration, employee engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient/resident experience.
• Collaborates with the Nursing Home Administrator and nursing center Leadership Team to drive business excellence, including strategic planning, budget preparation, and effective oversight of resource utilization.
• Ensures the realization of high quality and cost-effective health care services that are consistent with evidence-based practices and policies, regulatory and other legal requirements, and philosophies.
