Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an RN Unit Coordinator for the Med Surg/Specialties unit. This role leads nursing care delivery on a busy 24-bed unit, supports safety and quality initiatives, and works under the department manager to streamline workflows.

You will help develop staff, promote Gold Standard customer service, and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 18 months nursing experience.
• BSN, MSN, or RN Doctorate from an accredited school.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provide clinical leadership.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives, focus on simplifying workflow, and contribute to staff development.
• Increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service (Gold Standard).
