Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a seasoned registered nurse to provide clinical leadership within the department and to advance safety and quality initiatives. The role emphasizes simplifying workflow, staff development, and delivering outstanding patient service in a high-volume setting.

The incumbent will lead de-escalation and intervention practices, maintain BLS readiness, and collaborate with the department manager to promote patient-centered care and a Gold Standard of service.

Qualificações

• 18 months nursing experience required.
• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred if the graduate degree is not in nursing, then the BSN is required.
• De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days (Behavioral Health) or 90 days (Emergency Care).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Professional specialty nursing certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area.
• Provides clinical leadership for delivery of nursing care in a department.
• Leads safety and quality initiatives and improves workflow.
• Contributes to staff development and increases staff satisfaction; promotes excellent customer service.
