Job summary

Renaissance Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center in Staatsburg, NY, is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a unit in a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, providing compassionate, resident-centered care and guiding a collaborative clinical team. You will mentor staff, oversee care plans and documentation, and partner with nursing, therapy and social work to promote quality outcomes.

A NYS RN license and LTC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and supervisory leadership for the assigned unit.
• Monitor resident care and promote quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation.

Our recently renovated, spacious 2-unit facility offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN leader to join a supportive and collaborative leadership team.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager who is ready to lead, mentor, and make a meaningful impact every day.

YOUR ROLE

As an RN Unit Manager, you will play an important role in leading your assigned unit and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and supervisory leadership for your assigned unit

• Monitor resident care and promote quality outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation

• Communicate effectively with residents and families

• Participate in care plan meetings

• Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, social work, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Support and mentor nursing staff while promoting a positive team environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Minimum 1 years of Long-Term Care experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency

• Excellent organizational and clinical skills
