Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s) and active RN license.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs on the floor.
• Chart appropriately, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services for best outcomes.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician.
• Respond in a leadership capacity to emergencies involving patient and staff safety.
• Coordinate patient care plans and services across the team.
• Exhibit professionalism and adhere to Life Care policies and code of conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
