Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Pulmonary at our Naperville, IL location. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with office hours Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and some travel to other locations.

You will perform telephone triage, patient education, glucose monitor placement, and coordinate insurance pre-authorizations and referrals. Strong communication and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and patient education with clinical assessment.
• Active management of patient needs including glucose monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals.
• Maintain exam room readiness and ensure clean and stocked spaces.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Pulmonary
• Location: 100 Spalding Drive, Naperville, IL
• Full Time: 40 hours / week
• Office Hours:Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM .
• Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities.The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.Duties include: phone triage, patient education and continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms.

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
• Office RN and BSNpreferred
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
