Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) in Nephrology to provide telephone-based patient care under supervision. The role includes triage, education, and glucose monitor management, with travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

The ideal candidate holds Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and BSN preferred. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities.The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.Duties include: phone triage, patient education and continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL

• Full Time: 40 hours / week

• Office Hours:Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM .

• Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs
