You will perform phone triage, patient education, CGM placement, and assist with insurance pre-authorization and referrals while maintaining exam rooms. Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Hourly Pay Range:$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Outpatient Headache ClinicLocation: 1460 N Halsted Street, Chicago, ILFull Time: 40 hours / weekOffice Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.Travel Required: Downton Chicago is primary location. Secondary location is Glenbrook North, but should be infrequentWhat you will do:Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.
