Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 12 months of employment start date
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse state of New Hampshire or valid compact state licensure
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• 1 year of Nursing experience; experience in trauma nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate quality assurance activities related to trauma care.
• Monitor trauma patient care and outcomes for compliance with standards.
• Identify trends and sentinel events, and report issues to the Trauma Committee.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Provide staff development and community education related to trauma care.
