Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of start date
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide compassionate nursing care to orthopedic, trauma, and post-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital policy.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other health-care professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Promote a safe environment focused on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
