Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the Nursing Process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while guiding patient education and supporting nursing assistants.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, place the patient at the center of care, and may work other units or shifts based on staffing and acuity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
