Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate nursing care to patients using the nursing process and standards of practice. The RN will perform all staff nurse duties and may serve as charge nurse when assigned.

Responsibilities include maintaining accountability for assigned patients and coordinating care with the healthcare team, while tailoring care to the age and developmental level of patients served.

Qualifications

• Age of patients served: all age groups.
• Required education: Associate's Degree; BSN within 3 years of hire/transfer.
• Current employees hired or transferred before Aug 1, 2013 will be grandfathered.
• Preferred education: BSN.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Performs staff nurse activities and serves as charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintains accountability for assigned patients, delegating tasks as needed.
• Works with age-appropriate caregiver team.
