Job summary

The RN is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The role includes potential charge nurse responsibilities and oversight of delegated activities.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN must be obtained within 3 years of hire for those hired after 2017.
• Current Florida RN license; eligibility acceptable.
• BLS certification required on first day of employment.
• Preferred BSN and additional certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, AP providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity across the patient care continuum.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Function as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards of practice.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and teamwork.
