Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or eligibility.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification required on first day; ACLS/PALS as specified by department.
• Crisis Prevention Institute training within 90 days, then annually for Psych Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and practice standards.
• Perform staff nurse activities and act as charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients and coordinate with healthcare team.
