Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience; if hired without a BSN/MSN, must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license; may require other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety; support leadership in CMS standards and department policies.
• Apply systems thinking to coordinate care for patients and families within the unit.
• Document plan of care, care delivered, and patient/family outcomes using established protocols.
• Engage in clinical inquiry and performance review to improve practice and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in shared decision making and care planning.
• Demonstrate interprofessional practice and advocate for patient rights and family needs.
• Provide age-specific, culturally inclusive patient care throughout the care continuum.
