Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Burnet Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Burnet Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care during night shifts, perform clinical assessments, follow evidence-based protocols, and document outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Active Ohio RN license required; Associate or Diploma in Nursing with 2+ years of experience is preferred. BSN is encouraged; licensure requirements may vary by state and role.

Qualifications

• Associate or diploma in nursing with completed RN licensure.
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Patient Services staff and regulatory standards in department and hospital.
• Use systems thinking to support patient and family through care coordination and safety.
• Clinical judgment in performing caring practices with documentation of care plans and outcomes.
• Engage in clinical inquiry and performance reviews to improve practice and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in shared decision making and governance.
