Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, North Carolina, seeks a registered nurse to lead professional nursing care within the Transitional Care Unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks and documenting teaching for patients and families as part of a coordinated team.

The role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing, NC RN license (eNLC may apply), BLS, and at least one year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or BSN in nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; eNLC license may apply and must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate delivery of professional nursing care.
• Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.
