Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC seeks a registered nurse to lead and deliver professional nursing care in the Acute Care Unit, blending ICU/step-down and med-surgical skills.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, document accurately, administer medications, and support families. Requires ADN, NC RN license, BLS; preferred certs. We offer a collaborative team and opportunities within Mission Health/HCA.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing and active RN license in North Carolina (eNLC may apply)
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; national specialty certification preferred
• One year hospital nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
• Perform procedures or other medically ordered interventions
• Document care and teaching in the patient record
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
