Job summary

HCA HealthOne is seeking a Transition to Practice Coordinator to ensure standardized RN Residency and Nurse Residency programs are operationalized across assigned sites. You will serve as the primary contact for program coordination, cascading communications and ensuring content is delivered per HCA’s education standards.

You will lead onboarding for new RNs, assist with orientation, verify participants meet requirements, and collaborate with HR and leadership to achieve outcomes while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or Education is preferred; if the graduate degree is not in nursing, the undergraduate degree must be in nursing.
• 3+ years as a clinical educator or preceptor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating onboarding and orientation programs for the new Registered Nurse within assign site(s).
• Provides and assists with orientation/onboarding and transition to practice programs to promote employee retention within assigned site(s).
• Collaborates with recruitment, human resources, and leadership within assigned sites in verifying participants meet orientation requirements and achieve desired outcomes.
• Meets regularly with key stakeholders within assigned site(s).
• Professional Role Development and lifelong learning to promote continuing personal development.
