Fairview Park Hospital is seeking a Transition to Practice Coordinator to standardize RN Residency and related programs across the site. You will coordinate onboarding, ensure program adherence, and collaborate with recruitment, HR and leadership to meet orientation requirements and outcomes.

The role emphasizes professional development, lifelong learning, and guiding staff toward advancement while aligning with HCA’s Clinical Education Service Line standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or Education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• 3+ years as a clinical educator or preceptor preferred.

Responsabilités

• Leads coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating onboarding and orientation programs for the new Registered Nurse within assign site(s).
• Provides and assists with orientation/onboarding and transition to practice programs to promote employee retention within assigned site(s)
• Collaborates with recruitment, human resources, and leadership within assigned sites in verifying participants meet orientation requirements and achieve desired outcomes
• Meets regularly with key stakeholders within assigned site(s)
• Professional Role Development
• Participates and provides lifelong learning to promote continuing personal development
• Provides expertise in identifying professional development needs of individual staff
• Assists with identifying areas for individual growth in current role and grooming for advancement.
• Directs staff to career advancement resources
