Job summary

Fairview Park Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Transition to Practice Coordinator to standardize RN Residency programs and related education initiatives. You will coordinate onboarding for new RNs, collaborate with site leadership, and ensure high-quality, evidenced-based content is delivered across facilities.

The role emphasizes professional development, lifelong learning, and career advancement support for nursing staff within our network.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Master’s degree in Nursing or Education preferred; if graduate degree is not nursing, undergraduate must be nursing.
Three or more years as a clinical educator or preceptor preferred.
Licensure as an RN with a current, valid license required.

Responsibilities

Leads onboarding and orientation programs for newly registered nurses at assigned sites.
Provides and assists with orientation and transition to practice programs to promote retention.
Collaborates with recruitment, HR, and leadership to verify participants meet orientation requirements.
Meets regularly with key stakeholders within assigned sites.
Supports lifelong learning and professional development.
Identifies development needs and guides career advancement.
Directs staff to career advancement resources.
