Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is seeking a capable registered nurse to join our nursing team. The role focuses on direct patient care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and supports ongoing quality and patient experience initiatives.

Ideal candidates have an ADN or Diploma with Georgia RN licensure, and at least 1 year of RN experience. BSN preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong emphasis on professional development and shared governance.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience or meets experience requirements upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Apply the nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and family.
• Demonstrate safe, evidence-based practice and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Support shared governance activities and mentor others as appropriate.
