Job summary

Planned Parenthood is seeking a Training & Development Specialist RN for a Twin Cities–based role with travel across Greater Minnesota. The position is full-time, 32 hours per week, with a variable shift schedule and some evenings and Saturdays. Travel between MN health centers is required and travel time and mileage are reimbursed.

The role is hourly/non-exempt with SEIU representation. Salary ranges from $32 to $43 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• RN license in MN, IA, and NE or eligible before start date.
• One year RN experience.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers.
• Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
• Working knowledge of technology: Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and trains newly hired clinical staff in health center roles (RN, LPN, MA, HCA II) including ultrasound.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess needs and develop interventions and training materials.
• Designs and develops training materials for staff training, mentoring and coaching.
• Develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates training programs for new services and expansions.
• Implements evaluation systems to ensure training quality across clinical staff.
• Oversees proctoring and privileging for non-clinician staff.
• Travels to Planned Parenthood locations to provide training and evaluation.
