Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for TICU in Humble, Texas. The role is a 13-week assignment with day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 and 12-hour shifts. The unit has 10 beds, with a 1:2 patient ratio and a support team including a charge nurse.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and ICU experience, plus BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications. Expect CRRT/vent management and arterial line procedures; flexibility and weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

Description:The unit has 10 beds and a total of 28 staff members.The day shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses.The night shift has 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses.Patient ratios are 1:2.Equipment used includes CRRT, vents, MTP, hemospheres, arterial lines, and TTM.The EMR system in use is Meditech Expanse.Typical procedures performed include bronchoscopy and central venous catheter as well as arterial line insertion.Candidates with critical drip management and arterial line skills will be prioritized.The ideal candidate should be flexible.Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 4 weekend shifts scheduled over a 4-week period.Attendance and meeting schedule commitments are essential.Follow unit guidelines and policies.
