Job summary

Christiana Care Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Clinical Express Admissions Department (CEAD) in the Christiana Hospital complex.

The role focuses on admission work and care progression until beds are ready on an inpatient unit, with telemetry support and high patient turnover. The ideal candidate will have a BSN (or commit to obtain within three years), 2 years of acute care experience, and BLS; ACLS preferred and obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from date of hire.
• Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in acute care.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred (must be willing to obtain after hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform admission work and care progression until an available bed is ready on an inpatient unit.
• Demonstrate autonomy, anticipate patient needs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when patient conditions change.
• Provide effective communication and adapt to high patient turnover.
