Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift (7p-7a) at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware, on the 3C Medical Unit Stepdown. Nurses provide telemetry monitoring, wound care, and patient-centered care to support positive outcomes.

BSN is required; ADN candidates may apply if they commit to obtaining BSN within three years and have at least 1 year of acute or sub-acute care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN is required for consideration.
• ADN candidates may apply if committed to pursuing BSN within three years.
• Minimum of one year of acute or sub-acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered care.
• Monitor patients and respond to emergencies.
• Manage 4–5 patient assignments on PCU/3C unit.
• Educate patients on medications and disease processes.
