Description:This is a night position requiring 36 hours per week.The unit has a total of 32 beds, split between orthopedic and neuro Med/Surg patients.It admits various medical overflow cases.The clinician to patient ratio is typically 1:5 or 1:6 during night shifts.Travelers may be required to float to applicable units when requested.Rotating shifts may occur for day and evening shifts, while night positions do not rotate.Patients primarily include scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro surgical cases, fractures, and other medical overflow patients.The electronic medical record system used for charting is EPIC.
