Description: Neuro Tele RN rotating shifts. Every other weekend required. Patient diagnoses include stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, general medical/surgical, and IMC/Stepdown level of care. Experience in telemetry and neuro stepdown is required. Special procedures include lumbar drains, NIHSS, and stroke education. The unit is a busy stroke/neuro/trauma step-down unit. NIHSS and telemetry experience are required. Usual patient assignment is 1:4 but may be higher depending on resources available. Travelers must comply with FIT testing requirements. Travelers must shave for mask fitting. No exceptions to the shaving requirement will be allowed. Failure to comply with the shaving requirement will result in cancellation.
