Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Registered Nurse for Telemetry on the night shift in the Kansas City area. This role is in a 29-bed telemetry unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, supported by Charge Nurses, Unit Secretaries, and Patient Care Technicians.

Responsibilities include reading EKGs, titrating IV meds, and delivering high-quality post-cardiac care. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; at least 1 year of telemetry/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Cardiac telemetry or PCU/ICU experience required.
• Able to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.
• Experience with post-cardiac procedural care, including Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, and permanent Pacemaker placements.
• Able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in Telemetry unit with 29 beds and a 1:4 patient ratio.
• Demonstrate advanced skills including IV insertions, NGT placement, and chest tube maintenance.
• Floating policy allows assignment to areas where competency is shown and documented.
