Job summary

Queen City Hospice in Mason, OH, is seeking an RN Team Manager to provide overall leadership and compliance for clinical operations. This role ensures high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory standards, staff development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include overseeing scheduling, performance management, quality improvement, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes and census growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or eligible to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in hospice/home health or related setting.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and clinical operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for clinical operations and patient care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations (CMS hospice Conditions of Participation).
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Oversee staff scheduling, supervision, and performance management for clinical team members.
• Lead and support ongoing staff education and professional development programs.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and outcomes.
• Support strategic initiatives, operational goals, and census growth.
• Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environment.

Position Summary

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Ohio or eligible to obtain
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience including 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience in hospice home health or related healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations compliance standards and clinical operations
• Demonstrated leadership organizational and administrative skills
• Experience with quality assurance and performance improvement QAPI
• Current CPR certification
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Hospice
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms
• Hospice or palliative care certification CHPN or equivalent
