Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Current RN license in Illinois with BLS certification.
• New grads after 1/1/2025 must earn BSN within 3 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit activities and supervise staff.
• Coordinate admission, discharge planning, and care assignments.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor responses.
• Provide patient and family education to support understanding of care.
• Promote infection control and safety protocols; participate in quality improvement.
