Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to supervise patient care, clinical staff, and unit operations on the Nursing Unit North 5 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT. This full-time night-shift role leads a team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has a BSN (or will obtain within 3 years) and 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN in nursing required; existing incumbents must obtain BSN within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care and clinical personnel.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned department.
• Manage resources and quality improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain colleague schedules.
• Monitor patient throughput to facilitate efficient clinical operations.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic unit environment.
