Qualifications

• Hold a current unencumbered registered nurse license in the State of Nebraska.
• Successfully completed accredited school of nursing.
• Competent to provide nursing related services according to scope of practice.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Ability to direct and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
• Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians’ orders and accurately record all care provided.
• Develop, implement, and update a comprehensive care plan based on each resident’s needs and assessment.
• Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to the Director of Nursing and take follow-up action.
• Ensure infection control, safety procedures, and adherence to Resident’s Rights policies.
