Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. A hiring incentive of up to $26,000 is available for eligible candidates, with a minimum rate of $41.41 per hour and potential shift differentials of up to $7 for evenings, nights, and weekends.

The role involves direct patient care, staff supervision, and engagement in unit operations to ensure high-quality care and patient safety in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in BSN program or degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Graduation from an approved Specialty Training Program is required; active RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supervise assigned staff.
• Coordinate staffing, performance appraisals, and scheduling on the unit.
• Address performance issues and support disciplinary processes as appropriate.
• Communicate care plans and unit information to staff, patients, and families.
• Support Magnet principles and evidence-based practice within the unit.
