Job Summary and Qualifications

Perform direct patient care within the RN scope, focusing on peri-operative and surgical services. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, implementing care plans, evaluating effectiveness, providing emotional support, delegating tasks, participating in initiatives, supervising staff, and caring for patients across age groups with various anesthesia types. Must be proficient in EKG interpretation, lab values, hemodynamic monitoring, and high-risk therapies.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Services experience.
