Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for our Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit on a part-time night shift. The 30-bed unit handles orthopedic procedures and general surgeries with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 and support from Patient Care Associates.

Applicants should have an accredited RN program, active RN license, and relevant certifications (ACLS/BLS). Mercy emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact).
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire).
• Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion).

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 with support from Patient Care Associates.
