Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a part-time RN for the Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 24 hours per week. You will deliver nursing care, coordinate with multiple departments, and uphold Mercy's standards of patient rights and confidentiality.

The unit handles orthopedic and general surgeries with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Involves high-energy, fast-paced environment and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (or within 30 days of hire).
• Unit-specific certifications with timeline for completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
